Company Profile:
Voxiva, Inc. (www.voxiva.com) has historically focused on large scale IT projects that address the health segment with a particular skill set in the developing world and development sector.
Just over a year ago the company began an ambitious program to transform its business from one that
supports large scale complex and highly customized solutions to a product based business. During
this period the company developed a platform that supports data collection, data retrieval, communication
and notifications through the Web, SMS, a Mobile Client, a PC Client and Interactive Voice Response.
This product has been market tested and is already being used in a multitude of from ordering to registration to sales reports to content based notifications.
Position Background:
Based on accelerating interest in "mobile enterprise applications", the company is now ready to accelerate
commercial sales and believes that there is a considerable untapped opportunity. The company is looking
for an experienced sales leader that has a proven track record at building an extensive book of business.
This individual must be able to clearly demonstrate that they have:
- Extensive direct and channel sales experience in the international market including the US (both direct and through channels).
- Succeeded in building a multi-million dollar revenue stream.
- Built a successful sales career selling IT products.
- Built a sales organization in an early stage environment.
- Experience selling into the commercial health segment (ideally).
Position Description:
Reporting to the CEO, the WW Sales VP will:
- Develop, implement and manage the commercial sales strategy & plan.
- Define the value propositions that apply to the target market.
- Develop a pipeline of new sales opportunities.
- Develop, staff and manage the worldwide sales organization starting with US resources before expanding into key markets on a worldwide basis.
- Develop a sales compensation plan.
- Implement CRM tools to manage sales performance and provide accurate and timely sales reporting/forecasting
- Position is based at company headquarters in Washington, D.C.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Proven and successful sales track record selling enterprise software and/ or services. New business sales experience a must.
- Experience in software sales, web applications, mobile based technology is preferred.
- Experience building a successful sales organization in a start up organization.
- Experience in the commercial health sector is preferred.
- At least fifteen years of information technology sales experience.
- Excellent prospecting, new client generation and negotiation skills.
- Entrepreneurial and a strategic thinker with the imagination and foresight to conceptualize new sales.
- An established track record of managing and growing a profitable software sales and services organization to the $100m plus revenue level.
- Experience managing international sales.
- Prior startup experience.
- Should be an innovative, customer oriented thinker; able to identify and secure market niche opportunities.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent business experience required. MBA is preferred.
Compensation:
The competitive, revenue driven compensation package for this position will consist of a base salary, commission and stock options.

Senior Business Analyst Client Services Team
Position Summary:
As a member of the Client Services Team, the Senior Business Analyst will fill a critical
role bridging system design and delivery efforts between Voxiva's Account Management and
Technology Teams and its clients. The Analyst will largely provide functional support for
various systems and/or applications by serving as the main liaison between business users
and technical teams to identify, analyze and translate business needs into system specifications.
Reporting to the Vice President of Client Services, this position requires both a focus on
understanding client's needs and the skill to translate those into working configurations in
line with an existing solution framework.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Developing client relationships to conduct business analysis process for assigned initiatives and projects.
- Eliciting and translating business and/or technical needs into business requirements and relevant system documentation.
- Defining project deliverables.
- Handling system configurations in line with system design.
- Establishing consensus among stakeholders and/or project team members.
- Identifying and responding to questions and issues during system implementation.
- Managing client expectations, facilitating communications and contributing to client satisfaction during and after implementation.
To Be a Successful Candidate, You Must:
- Be capable of understanding and internalizing client processes in order to define system configurations to support those processes.
- Be capable of interacting and communicating with all levels of staff and project management in both the business and the technical areas with the ability to keep discussions at the appropriate level of abstraction.
- Be capable of managing an integrated team of both clients and technical engineers throughout a full project lifecycle ranging from requirements specification through system deployment.
- Have a willingness and desire to develop and strengthen professional skills in the discipline of project management.
- Be capable of managing client expectations to ensure client satisfaction.
- Be capable of driving a project from inception through to delivery and deployment in line with project management practices.
- Have proven experience in working with data models, relational database design and data flow mapping.

Key Selection Criteria:
- A minimum of 5-7 years in a business analyst or consulting environment, preferably within roles responsible for client-facing requirements gathering, business analysis, project management and/or coordination dealing with the design and development of web-based applications solutions.
- 5-7 years direct experience managing requirements and technical development teams and projects.
- 3+ years experience conducting process analysis, requirements definition, use case analysis, and implementation/deployment management.
- Experience in designing and/or supporting solutions for low-resource environments.
- Must be able to communicate well with culturally diverse clients and internal staff.
- Familiarity with telephony IVR applications is desirable.
- Fluent in English, Spanish and/or French fluency is a plus.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel abroad extensively.
- Experience in general public health, epidemiology and international development sectors is desirable.
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree or Doctorate a plus.

Business Development Associate
Position Summary:
Voxiva is currently seeking a dynamic BD Associate to join the Global Business Development team to expand its sales efforts in the international development & health sectors. The candidate will be responsible for supporting various aspects of business development, sales and account management with a strong focus on proposal development. Working closely with the EVP of Public Sector and Health solutions to drive revenues, the Associate will help qualify and develop business opportunities into new contracts as well as work with current customers to grow existing accounts. This is a demanding and exciting role requiring a creative individual with highly developed communication skills looking to expand their experience in proposal development and strategic business planning to help ensure Voxiva’s position as a global leader in mobile centric ICT solutions for health. This position is based in Voxiva’s headquarters in Washington, D.C.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Help identify and develop sales and funding opportunities within the donor world of bi-lateral and multi-lateral agencies, NGOs and foundations.
- Research, develop, write, edit, and produce new business proposals and concept papers.
- Assist with program design, cost proposal and budget preparation.
- Act as project manager for assigned proposals and support other aspects of proposal development by working with headquarters and field staff assuming primary responsibility for the timely completion and submission of proposals.
- Analyze assigned proposals and bids to determine the most effective strategies in coordination with business development leadership.
- Participate in pricing meetings; provide background and strategy information.
- Support account management of a small number of existing customers (management of customer expectations and contract renewals).
- Help identify and develop additional opportunities within existing accounts.
- Represent Voxiva at external meetings of partners, donors and other agencies.
- Assist as liaison and participate in negotiations with partner organizations, including donors and international development NGOs.
- Help update content of business development informational infrastructure (library, standard proposals, proposal databases, presentation document slides, attachments, and other source documents); coordinate with other departments, as assigned, to ensure accuracy of business information.
- Manage multiple projects within deadlines and with sensitivity to working in a collaborative team environment.
- Work with EVP of Public Sector and Health Solutions to carry out other duties as needed.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Relevant Master's degree (MPH, MBA, MPA).
- Bachelor's degree acceptable with applicable experience.
- 3 years of demonstrated new business development or sales experience, particularly with government and donor requests for applications/proposals.
- 5+ years of experience related to international development, healthcare and/or ICT; in-country experience preferred.
- Proven track record in successful proposal management, development, competitive analysis and writing experience in a government contracting environment.
- Outstanding written communication skills in English.
- Excellent interpersonal, cross-cultural communication, presentation and public speaking skills; proven diplomatic and negotiation skills a plus.
- Strong multi-tasking and time management skills; ability to deliver quality products on tight deadlines.
- Strong quantitative skills, advanced Power Point and Excel experience and comfort working with and developing complicated budgets.
- Ability to work independently yet dependable team player.
- Foreign language skills - Spanish or French preferred.
