Voxiva’s HealthWatch solution for the Peruvian Navy is featured in ‘Government Health IT’
Washington DC, June 19, 2006- Governemnt Health IT (http://govhealthit.com/) today
featured a story by Bob Brewin entitled "U.S.-made disease-surveillance system pays off
for Peru". The story outlines the success the Peruvian Navy has had gaining user adoption for its
Voxiva provided diseases surveillance system. The system, know locally as ‘Alerta’, is an
implementation of Voxiva’s HealthWatch solution which allows users
to submit health reports real-time form the field, and for that information to be presented in
summarized form by way of personalized management dashboards. Costs are contained by
leveraging local infrastructure such as fixed or mobile phones for field reporting.
